Thankful

I’m looking forward to consuming these in the next few weeks:

[fruit loaves from Fuel Bakery]
[three fruit loaves from Fuel Bakery]

On Saturday morning I went out to Fuel Bakery at St Peters (not far from Rat City, where I work). I bought three fruit loaves and sliced them up and put them in the freezer at work.

Whether I like it or not, I am still alive, so I might as well enjoy myself for at least some time each day.

The owner of Fuel Bakery, Keith, was showing me photos of his son competing in a recent Ironman ultra-triathlon. Apparently he’s highly ranked in his age group. The photos were taken by Keith’s daughter-in-law. She used to be a highly ranked triathlete too, but she was hit by a car while training. She’s now a paraplegic.

  1. So glad you’re still here and still finding something to enjoy! Fruit bread sounds delish. Enjoy, keep running, and LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE YOU CROSS THE STREET! I’m sure your mama taught you that, but you obviously need a reminder, lol! ;-0
